Hastings Hotel Group

We have been carrying out mechanical and electrical works for Hastings Group, Northern Ireland’s premier hotel group, for many years now and have provided individual services to the Europa, Slieve Donard, Culloden, Stormont, Ballygally, and Everglades amounting to £250,000 p/a.

We are always very conscious that Hastings Hotels are a key facilitator for tourism in Northern Ireland and that making sure the hotels are not only properly maintained, but also, that the maintenance is coordinated correctly is incredibly important. We currently carry out maintenance via a 24hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year reactive callout service meaning that there is never a time when we aren’t available to keep their customers happy.

Maintaining the mechanical and electrical side of luxury hotels means providing a range of services in a complex living environment and there are a number of key issues that have to be addressed such as working in live environments with limited access and shutdown times. These are successfully overcome through our close working relationship with the client and managing programmes in line with a master programme, phased commissioning and partial handovers

Under the maintenance division we have carried out fixed wire testing and full periodic inspection reports along with the annual entertainments licence periodic inspection and emergency lighting certification. Our core range of services include:

  • Air-Conditioning & Ventilation Service Management
  • Borehole Ground Water Management
  • Building Management Controls (BEMS)
  • LTHW & Plumbing Systems Service Management
  • Gas testing and certification
  • Gas Interlock service and repair works
  • Electrical Service Management
  • Fixed Wire Testing & Repair
  • PAT Testing
  • Emergency lighting Testing & Repair
