About Us

As an industry leader in delivering quality mechanical and electrical building services across the UK and Ireland, we have vast experience in the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of Building services solutions, whether retrofitting, renovating or new build projects.

We provide engineering solutions that integrate seamlessly within each scheme. We are proud of our reputation for excellence, and we are constantly expanding our services to include the most recent advances with the best technology available. Our team of qualified building services engineers provide considerable depth and have a breadth of experience across a range of sectors that include but not limited to commercial, educational, industrial, residential, retail, hospitality, medical and government facilities. We are always looking to lead in innovation and incorporate modern methods of construction.

We are proud of our heritage and can boost an excellent customer retention rate going back many decades.

As a leading UK building services engineering provider, we undertake the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of building services installations encompassing all aspects of Mechanical and Electrical engineering.

In business we aim to set standards, not to follow them. This means that in every area of our company we employ first class resources. Our key asset is our people supported by state-of-the-art design technology, CAD systems and IT.

We use digital design/ BIM to integrate multi-disciplinary data to create detailed digital representations that are managed on a cloud-based platform for real-time collaboration.

Our in-house team understand and have the capability of working with projects using a common data environment and have specific project experience utilising various CDE’s to deliver construction projects as part of the project delivery team.

We have a documented BIM policy in place and want to continue to develop our business with a main focus being on digital design.

We have the capability to develop, deliver or work to a BIM Execution Plan. We have experience and knowledge in developing, delivering, and working to BIM Execution Plans as part of collaborative team. From the very early stages of the projects, our in-house design team liaise closely with members of the design team in developing a detailed BEP.

If designing and installing our solutions is one half of the M&E equation, then providing an appropriate level of maintenance service is the other. At Stothers, we don’t believe in one cap fits all solutions. Each of our services contracts is customised to suit specific needs of our customers.

Our maintenance division operates a 24/7 service and can draw on a team of over 100 professionally trained engineers to get the job done, anytime, anywhere.
