Strip out works are nearing completion at student accommodation project Andrew Melville Hall at St Andrews University, Fife.

Build in 1967 and named after Andrew Melville, a 16th-century Scottish scholar, theologian and religious reformer who was a graduate of the University, and who later became its rector and dean of theology.

The mechanical and electrical upgrade of the 277 rooms and communal areas will include drainage, domestic water, LTHW, ventilation, containment, small power and data, lighting/emergency lighting, fire alarm and security system.

First fix works will commence in the upcoming weeks.
