The Moxy Hotel
A former hat factory has been transformed in the Manchester’s vibrant Spinningfields district to a new hotel with smart rooms, stylish communal areas and the coolest bar in town.
The hotel has a quirky, boutique feel, coupled with first class Marriott service. The new nine-storey structure gives a fresh lease of life to the 18th century building with the historic, original façade retained as part of the works.
The perforated metal exterior panels recall the punch cards of a Jacquard loom as an echo to the site’s textile history, whilst the hotel’s interior features nods towards the building’s industrial past.
